Il tendine d'Achille continua a tormentare Edvald Boasson Hagen, l'assente eccellente di questo avvio di stagione. Il norvegese, che ha già saltato tutte le classiche dopo la Sanremo, ne avrà per un altro mesetto, e conta di tornare in gara a metà maggio, al Tour de Picardie. Per allora, si spera, l'infiammazione di cui soffre sarà soltanto un ricordo.
