La Vuelta a España ha annunciato i nomi delle 22 formazioni che prenderanno parte alla prossima edizione che inizierà il 20 agosto a Benidorm: l'unica sorpresa sta nell'invito dell'olandese Skil-Shimano. Oltre ai 18 ProTeams, invitati di diritto, e alla già citata Skil hanno ricevuto una wild card anche le spagnole Andalucía-Caja Granada e Geox-TMC e la francese Cofidis.
